General Description

The EHPS (Electro Hydraulic Power Steering) system is to assist a driver's steering force by using a motor and making an oil pressure, not by engine power.
The MPU (Motor Pump Unit) gets battery power and operates the motor according to a vehicle speed and a steering angle speed. As a result, an oil pressure is got into gear-box.
The MPU monitors battery voltage and if there is an excessive rise or drop, it stops its EHPS control in order to prevent it from getting a damage.

DTC Description

The MPU sets this code if it detects higher voltage than available value caused by faulty in alternator or battery power supply circuit.
