General Information
Pre-safe Seat Belt-Left
C1230 Signal Yaw Rate or Acceleration AX or Acceleration AY or Brake pressure State not valid - General Information
Component Location
General Description
PSB (Pre-Safe Seat Belt) : It is the protection model for passenger and operates the seat belt automatically to warn the danger to driver and passenger for road holding at each vehicle status.
At buckled seat belt, PSB is received the vehicle status from each sensors (Radar, wheel speed, SAS) when danger situation is happen during Driving and PSB decide that driving status is in critical situations then control the seat belt to reduce a injury of passenger and applied comfortable driving.
It's installed at driver seat and passenger seat of under B-Pillar each.
PSB Composite with Driving detected sensor (Radar, Wheel Speed, SAS), Pre-safe seat belt (ECU, Motor) and Standard Seat belt (FLR+P/T+L/L).
PSB has self diagnosis and operated Pre-safe belt by CAN communication each modules, also has Vehicle analysis information and supported effectiveness of passive safety systems in advance (reduction of too much slack, improved position of occupant to airbag) by monitoring the vehicle status.
DTC Description
This DTC is set when PSB isn't received signals from Any of wheel speed sensor. Normal PSB is received signals from all of Yaw Rate or acceleration AX or acceleration AY or brake pressure
When "C1102 ESP 2 (Yaw Rate or acceleration AX or acceleration AY or brake pressure) message timeout" is set then "C1230 Signal Yaw Rate or acceleration AX or acceleration AY or brake pressure State not valid" is set too at all the time.
But When "C1230 Signal Yaw Rate or acceleration AX or acceleration AY or brake pressure State not valid" is set then "C1102 ESP 2 (Yaw Rate or acceleration AX or acceleration AY or brake pressure) message timeout" is set sometimes.
