General Description

The EHPS (Electro Hydraulic Power Steering) system is to assist a driver's steering force by using a motor and making an oil pressure, not by engine power.
Among elements of EHPS system, a temperature sensor is installed in the MPU (Motor Pump Unit) to measure its oil temperature. This sensor uses a thermistor whose resistance changes according to temperature.
The MPU ECU controls its motor speed according to a change of oil viscosity and an oil temperature.

DTC Description

The MPU limits MPU-motor's current according to temperature sensor's signal. The MPU sets this code if the current amount for MPU motor is limited.
(If C1101 or C1102 happens at the same time with this DTC, Check and repair C1101 or C1102 at first. If C1262 happens at the same time with this DTC Check and repair C1262 at first.)
