C1604 ECU Hardware Error - Component Inspection

Component inspection

1. Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Engine "ON"
3. Clear the DTC
4. Ignition "OFF"
5. Engine "ON"
6. Connect scantool and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode and Read "DTC Status" parameter.
7. Is the DTC C1604 present?
