C1699 ECS CAN Signal Error - General Information

EHPS system, depending on whether ECS SW configuration of the two kinds of SPORT or NORMAL steering mode can be formed.
However, if there is no signal input EHPS ECS system will be applied to the sports mode.

DTC Description

The EHPS ECU checks that a Damping mode of ECS is a normal status. If an ECS CAN communication signal is abnormal, the EHPS ECU generates the DTC C1699
