Terminal and Connector Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminal condition. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?






Power Circuit Inspection

1. IG OFF.
2. Disconnect Rear Initiator connector and TPMS ECU connector.
3. Measure resistance between power terminal of Rear Initiator harness connector and power terminal of TPMS ECU harness connector.

Specification : Below approx. 1 Ohms




4. Is the measured value within specifications?






Signal Circuit Inspection

1. IG OFF.
2. Disconnect Rear Initiator connector and TPMS ECU connector.
3. Measure resistance between signal terminal of Rear Initiator harness connector and signal terminal of TPMS ECU harness connector.

Specification : Below approx. 1 Ohms




4. Is the measured value within specifications?






Ground Circuit Inspection

1. IG "OFF".
2. Disconnect Rear Initiator connector and TPMS ECU connector.
3. Measure resistance between ground terminal of Rear Initiator harness connector and ground terminal of TPMS ECU harness connector.

Specification : Below approx. 1 Ohms




4. Is the measured value within specifications?
