B1959 Tilt Position Sensor Error - General Information

General Description

IMS (Integrated Memory System) is a system which can memorize the position of power seat (PTM), tilt/telescope handle (SCM), side mirror (DDM/ADM) by position sensor and restores them to a previous position. (Memory function is not allowed during driving for safety reason)

DTC Description

SCM sets this code when amount of change of the tilt motor position sensor is little than 12edge (6pulse) for 2 sec. This means that tilt motor/sensor stuck due to open or short in circuit or external cause (compulsive restriction)
