Heater Hose Pump

Inspection

1. Connect the battery voltage and check the heater hose pump motor rotation.









2. If the heater hose pump voltage is not operated well, substitute with a known-good heater hose pump and check for proper operation.
3. If the problem is corrected, replace the heater hose pump.

Replacement

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the intake air duct (A).




3. Remove the intake air filter assembly (A).




4. Disconnect the heater hose.

5. Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the heater hose pump (B).




6. Installtion in the reverse order of removal.
