General Description

Smartkey Module communicates with PCM/ECM through the serial communication line. If PCM/ECM requests authetication from Smartkey Module after IG ON, Smartkey Module check authentication with transponder then, sends this signal to PCM/ECM whether authentication is O.K or not.

DTC Description

This DTC code is to determine proper communication of PCM/ECM and SMK Unit when engine is started.The DTC is set If there is problem with data sent from PCM/ECM to SMK unit such as check sum error, Data Frame error, ID Unknown error, Data length error and Time out error.
