General Description

The EHPS(Electro Hydraulic Power Steering) system is to assist a driver's steering force by using a motor and making an oil pressure, not by engine power.
Among elements of EHPS system, a temperature sensor is installed in the MPU(Motor Pump Unit) to measure its oil temperature. This sensor uses a thermistor whose resistance changes according to temperature.
The MPU ECU controls its motor speed according to a change of oil viscosity and an oil temperature.

DTC Description

The MPU sets this code if the inputted temperature signals are too higher or lower than normal value.
