W/Harness Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration,or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?






Inspection for CAN communication wiring (EHPS ECU <--> ECM)

1. IG OFF.
2. Disconnect between a wiring terminal for EHPS ECU and a wiring terminal for Engine ECU.
3. Measure the resistance between the CAN-High terminal for EHPS ECU and CAN-High terminal for Engine ECU.
4. Measure the resistance between the CAN-Low terminal for EHPS ECU and CAN-Low terminal for Engine ECU.

Specification :Approx. under 1 Ohms




5. Is the measured resistance within specification ?
