Terminal and Connector Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminal condition. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?






Power Circuit Inspection

Check short to ground in harness
1. IG OFF.
2. Disconnect Front, Rear Initiator connector and TPMS ECU connector.
3. Measure resistance between power terminal of Front, Rear Initiator harness connector and chassis ground.

Specification :Infinity.




4. Is the measured value within specifications?






Ground Circuit Inspection

Check for open in harness
1. IG OFF.
2. Disconnect Front, Rear Initiator connector and TPMS ECU connector.
3. Measure resistance between ground terminal of Front, Rear Initiator harness connector and ground terminal of TPMS ECU harness connector.

Specification :Below approx. 1Ohms




4. Is the measured value within specifications?
