C1706 A Vehicle Body Distortion - General Information

General Description

The ECS is the acronym for "Electronic Control Suspension". This ECS system automatically controls the height of a vehicle level and the damping force of shock absorbers according to road condition. So it improves riding comfort and steering stability. The vehicle level controlling is automatically performed according to a vehicle speed and a vehicle state. Also, it is possible to control a vehicle height controlling through a driver's switch signal.

DTC Description

The ECS ECU monitors each height sensor's signal and if it is detected as a vehicle body's distortion, this DTC is set.
