Terminal and Connector Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals.
Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found ?






Signal Circuit Inspection

1. IG "OFF".
2. Disconnected a microphone connector.
3. IG KEY "ON".
4. Measure voltage between terminal (+) of a microphoneee circuit and chasis gound.

Specification :about 7.8V




5. Is the measured value within specifications ?






Check for short circuit

1. IG KEY "OFF".
2. Disconnected connectors of a microphone and Head unit.
3. Measure resistance between terminal (-) of a microphonee circuit and terminal (-) of Head unit circuit.

Specification :0Ohms




4. Is the measured resistance within specifications ?
