Collision Avoidance System Switch: Service and Repair

Inspection

1. Check for continuity between the terminals. If continuity is not specified, replace the switch (A).








2 : FBWS unit
12 : Ground

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the side switch assembly (A) installed to the crash pad panel.




3. Disconnect the switch assembly connector (A).






Installation

1. Install the switch assembly connector.
2. Install the switch assembly.
3. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
