Replacement
Cluster Replacement
CAUTION:
- When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
1. Remove the crash pad canter facia.
2. Loosen the mounting screws, remove the cluster facia panel (A).
3. Loosen the mounting screws, remove the cluster (A).
4. Disconnect the cluster connectors (A)
5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
NOTE:
- Replace any damage clips.
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
Center Facia Panel Replacement
CAUTION:
- When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
1. Remove the crash pad side cover.
2. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad lower panel (A).
3. Remove the center facia panel (A).
4. Disconnect the connectors (A).
5. Installation is the reverse the removal.
NOTE:
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
- Replace any damage clips.
Lower Panel Replacement
1. Remove the crash pad side cover.
2. Loosen the crash pad lower panel mounting screws, remove the lower panel (A).
3. Disconnect the connector.
4. Installation is the reverse the removal.
NOTE:
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
- Replace any damage clips.
Audio Assembly Replacement
1. Remove the crash pad lower panel.
2. Remove the center facia panel.
3. Loosen the audio assembly mounting screws, then remove the audio assembly (A).
4. Disconnect the connector (B).
5. Installation is the reverse the removal.
NOTE:
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
- Replace any damage clips.
DIS Head Unit Replacement
1. Remove the crash pad lower facia panel.
2. Remove the center facia panel.
3. Loosen the mounting screws, then remove DIS head unit (A).
4. Disconnect the connectors (A).
5. Installation is the reverse the removal.
NOTE:
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
- Check the audio system.
Glove Box Replacement
1. Disconnect the guide (B), from the glove box (A).
2. Disconnect the damper (A) from the glove box.
3. Loosen the mounting bolts and screw, remove the glove box housing (A).
4. Disconnect the connector (A).
5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
NOTE:
- Replace any damage clips.
Shroud Replacement
1. Loosen the mounting screws, remove the shroud assembly (A).
2. Disconnect the connector (B).
3. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Crash Pad Side Cover Replacement
CAUTION:
- When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
1. Remove the crash pad side cover (A).
2. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Main Crash Pad Replacement
CAUTION:
- When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
1. Remove the following items;
A. Front seat.
B. Cluster.
C. Audio assembly.
D. Glove box.
E. Crash pad side cover.
F. Front pillar trim.
2. Remove the crash pad side garnish (A).
3. Using a screwdriver, remove the center speaker grill (A).
4. Loosen the mounting screws, remove the center speaker (A).
5. Disconnect the connector (B).
6. Loosen the mounting screws, remove the crash pad under cover (A).
7. Disconnect the passenger's air bag connector (A).
8. Remove the passenger's air bag mounting bolts.
9. Loosen the mounting screws, remove the crash pad lower panel (A).
10. Disconnect the connector (A).
11. Disconnect the connector (A).
12. Remove the auto photo and auto light sensor (B) from crash pad upper side by using screwdriver or remover then disconnect the connector (A).
13. Loosen the mounting bolts and nuts, then remove the main crash pad (B).
14. Installation is the reverse of removal.
NOTE:
- Make sure the crash pad fits onto the guide pins correctly.
- Before tightening the bolts, make sure the crash pad wire harnesses are not pinched.
- Make sure the connectors are plugged in properly, and the antenna lead is connected properly.
- Enter the anti- theft code for the radio, then enter the customer`s radio station presets.
Cowl Cross Bar Assembly Replacement
1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the floor console.
3. Remove the crash pad.
4. Loosen the mounting bolts, then remove the A/C hose.
5. Remove the clips, then remove heater hose.
6. Remove the cowl top cover.
7. Disconnect the driver`s wiring connectors.
8. Disconnect the passenger`s wiring connectors.
9. Disconnect the air bag connector (A), then remove the wiring (B).
10. Loosen the mounting nut, then remove the air duct (A).
11. Loosen the mounting bolts, then remove the cowl cross bar (A).
12. Installation is the reverse of removal.
