Replacement
Air Spring
1. Remove the rear wheel & tire.
Tightening torque :
88.3 - 107.9N.m (9.0 - 11.0kgf.m, 65.1 - 79.6lb-ft)
2. Remove the air tube (A).
NOTE:
Take car due to the high pressure air in the spring is discharged.
3. Remove the stabilizer link (A) & height sensor (B) from the lower arm.
4. Loosen the cam bolt (A) and then remove the air spring from the lower arm.
5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
CAUTION:
- Take care not to twist upper and lower.
- After transportation, check the cleanliness.
- Check the cap which prevents entering foreign materials on the connector of air filling portion.
- Take care due to it is bended or defamed easily by external force.
Coil spring
1. Remove the rear wheel & tire.
Tightening torque :
90 - 110N.m (9.0 - 11.0kgf.m, 65 - 80lb-ft)
2. Loosen the nut(A) and then remove the stabilizer link.
Tightening torque :
50 - 65N.m (5.0 - 6.5kgf.m, 36 - 47lb-ft)
3. Loosen the nut and then remove the height sensor(A).
Tightening torque :
4 - 6N.m (0.4 - 0.6kgf.m, 3 - 4lb-ft)
4. Loosen the bolt (A), nuts (B), flange bolt (C), lock nuts (D) and then remove the lower arm.
Tightening torque :
Axle : 140 - 160N.m (14.0 - 16.0kgf.m, 101 - 116lb-ft)
Damper : 100 - 120N.m (10.0 - 12.0kgf.m, 72 - 87lb-ft)
5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
6. Check the alignment.
