P0605 Internal Control Module Read Only Memory(ROM) Error - General Information

General Description

Substitute with a known - good ECM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace ECM and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

DTC Description

If the RAM in the ECM has errors or the CPU software version does not match the main CPU or real checksum does not match with the memory checksum, the ECM sets a P0605 DTC.
