Component Inspection

"Oil temperature sensor" Inspection
1. Ignition off.
2. Disconnected Oil temperature sensor connector.
3. Measure a resistance between signal of Oil temperature sensor and chassis ground.

4. Is the measured resistance within specifications?





PCM/TCM Inspection
1. Ignition off & Engine Off.
2. Connect Oil temperature sensor connector.
3. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC) and select Simulation mode.
4. Input 0 -> 5 vlotage at Oil temperature sensor signal line by simulation mode and Monitoring Oil temperature sensor.

Fig 2) Simulation Output 4.00V -> 20°C
** It is subject to change vehicle condition.
5. Is measured Oil temperature sensor value changed by input voltage?
