C1643 CAN Time-out Yaw Rate & Lateral G Sensor - General Information

General Description

The yaw-rate sensor and later G sensor and longitudinal G sensor [Yaw Sensor] is installed on the passenger seat under floor.
The Yaw Sensor detects acceleration of the vehicle around its vertical axis, while the G sensor detects lateral acceleration and longitudinal acceleration of the vehicle.
It sends messages to HECU through CAN communcation line.

DTC Description

The HECU checks the CAN communcation lines for normal ESC control, and sets this code if an Yaw Rate & Lateral G Sensor message is not received within redefined time.
