P0504 Brake Switch - General Information

General Description

The brake switch is installed on the upper side of the brake pedal checks brake pedal operation. Brake switch and the Brake Lamp switch are included inside of the brake switch.

DTC Description

DTC P0504 is set when the HCU detects there is no brake pedal pressed signal under the condition that brake pedal should be pressed or correlation is occurred, or there is a brake pedal pressed signal under the condition that brake pedal should not be pressed.
