Coolant Reservoir - Hybrid Drive: Service and Repair





Removal

1. Loosen the drain plug (A), and drain the inverter coolant. Remove the inverter reservoir cap to help drain the coolant faster.




2. Disconnect the reservoir inlet hose (A) and outlet hose and pipe assembly (B), then remove the reservoir (C).

Tightening torque:
3.9 - 5.9N.m (0.4 - 0.6kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3lb-ft)




3. Installation is the reverse of removal.
4. Fill the reservoir with coolant and check for leaks.

NOTE:
Bleed air from the hybrid motor cooling system using GDS.
