General Description

The ABS/ESC ECM checks a vehicle driving status, a road status, and a steering status. CAN is used for these modules to communicate with each other. The integrated control of ABS/ESC and MDPS helps to improve vehicle safety.

DTC Description

The EPS UNIT sets DTC C1692 if it doesn't receive VSM signals from ABS/ESP ECM.
