P0716 Input/Turbine Speed Sensor - Inspection/Repair:_:Component Inspection

Component Inspection

1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect the "INPUT SPEED SENSOR 1" connector.
3. Measure resistance between terminal "1","3" of the "INPUT SPEED SENSOR1" connector.

Specification :20 - 30 MOhms




[1. Signal, 2. -, 3. Power]
4. Is resistance within specifications?






Check TCM

1. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
2. Disconnect the "INPUT SPEED SENSOR 1" connector.
3. Install scantool and slect a SIMU-SCAN,
4. Simulate frequency to INPUT SPEED SENSOR 1 signal circuit.




FIG1) 150Hz -> 269rpm




FIG2) 250Hz -> 449rpm

NOTE:
The values are subject to change according to vehicle model or conditions.

5. Is "INPUT SPEED SENSOR 1" signal value changed according to simulation frequency?
