P1807 Clutch Position Sensor - Inspection/Repair:_:W/Harness Inspection

Terminal & Connector Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals.
Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?






Power Circuit Inspection

1. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
2. Disconnect the "Clutch Motor2" connector.
3. Measure voltage between "Hall Sensor Power" terminal of the Clutch Motor2 harness connector and chassis ground.

Specification :approx. 5V




4. Is voltage within specifications?






Signal Circuit Inspection

1. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
2. Disconnect the "Clutch Motor2" connector.
3. Measure voltage between "2", "3", "4" terminal of the Clutch Motor2 harness connector and chassis ground.

Specification :approx.3 - 6 V




4. Is voltage within specifications?






Ground Circuit Inspection

1. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
2. Disconnect the "Clutch Motor2" connector.
3. Measure voltage between "Hall Sensor Ground" terminal of the Clutch Motor2 harness connector and chassis ground.

Specification :approx. 0 V




4. Is voltage within specifications?
