Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the tailgate upper trim (A).




3. Disconnect the connector (A) and remove the washer hose (B).




4. Remove the plug hole (A) and then remove the mounting nuts.




5. Remove the rear spoiler assembly (A).




6. Remove the high mounted stop lamp (A) after removing the mounting nuts.






Installation

1. Install the high mounted stop lamp.
2. Install the rear spoiler.
3. Connect the connector and install the washer hose.
4. Install the tailgate upper trim.
5. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
