Collision Avoidance Sensor: Service and Repair

Removal

[Front Bumper]
1. Remove the front bumper disconnecting the connector (A).




2. Disconnect the sensor connector (A) on the inside of the front bumper.




3. Pull out the front sensor (A) from the sensor holder by opening the sensor holder out.





[Rear Bumper]
1. Remove the rear bumper after removing the connector (A).




2. Open the sensor holder out.




3. Remove the sensor (A) from the housing.





CAUTION:
Be careful not to damage the sensor housing.

Installation

[Front Bumper]
1. Connect the connector, and then install the sensor.
2. Install the front bumper.

[Rear Bumper]
1. Connect the connector, and then install the sensor.
2. Install the rear bumper.
