Repair procedures

Removal and Installation

PWM Module
1. Disconnect the battery negative terminals.

2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

3. Disconnect the PWM module connectors and than remove the PWM module (A).

Tightening torque :
4.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.5 - 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 - 5.8 lb-ft)




4. Installation is the reverse order of removal.

Cooling Fan
1. Disconnect the battery negative terminals.

2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

3. Disconnect the PWM connector (A) and radiator upper hose clip (B).




4. Loosen the cooling fan mounting bolts (A) and then disconnect the cooling fan assembly (B) from radiator.

Tightening torque :
4.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.5 - 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 - 5.8 lb-ft)








5. Installation is the reverse order of removal.
