Removal and Installation

OIL PUMP:

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Remove timing chain.

2. Remove oil pump assembly.
Inspect the oil pump after removing it.

3. Reinstall any parts removed in reverse order of removal.
When installing oil pump, apply engine oil to rotors.
Install oil pump with the groove of the inner rotor facing the oil pump cover.
