AWD Lock Indicator Lamp Delayed When Ign. Sw. Is ON

AWD LOCK INDICATOR LAMP DOES NOT COME ON FOR APPROXIMATELY 1 SECOND WHEN IGNITION SWITCH IS TURNED TO ON

1. PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS
WITH CONSULT-II
Use CONSULT-II and perform self-diagnosis.

NOTE: If self-diagnosis is not carried out, check power supply and ground.

OK or NG
OK >>GO TO 2.
NG >> Determine the location of the malfunction according to the result of Self-diagnosis using CONSULT-II. (AWD system is malfunctioning.)

2. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION LINE
Perform the self-diagnosis. Is a malfunction in the CAN communication indication in the results?

YES or NO
YES >> Check CAN communication line.
NO >> Perform trouble diagnosis for combination meter, and repair or replace the malfunction part. Testing and Inspection
