^ If needed you can contact Curtis Industries Inc. at 800-726-9626 (ask for Security Department) to obtain key cutting information.

(CONSULT-II will display and print the BCM-Specific 5-digit code to be decoded using ASIST.)

b. Wait at least 5 seconds.

c. Turn the ignition to the "OFF/LOCK" position and remove the key.

NOTE:

^ This key (the one just removed from the ignition) is now registered. Keep this first REGISTERED key separate from ALL the other UNREGISTERED keys for now. DO NOT MIX UP THE KEYS! It will be used later to end the registration process.

^ Accidentally inserting an already registered key at this point will "drop" the system out of the registration mode.

^ If this happens you will have to go back to step 12 and restart from there.

d. Wait at least 5 seconds.

Perform ID registration of other NATS Keys:

e. Insert the next key to be registered and turn the ignition ON.

f. Wait at least 5 seconds. (The Security Indicator Lamp will flash 5 times then stop flashing.)

g. Turn the ignition OFF and remove the key from the ignition.

h. Repeat steps e, f and g for the remaining unregistered keys.

NOTE:
A maximum of 5 NATS keys (emergency plus valet) can be registered into the system.

i. After registering and removing the final key reinsert the first key registered and turn the ignition ON for 5 seconds (the Security Indicator Lamp will flash 5 times).

^ This will take the system out of key registration mode.

j. Turn the ignition OFF and wait for the Security Indicator Lamp to start blinking (approximately 5 seconds).

^ This will indicate the completion of the NATS Key ID Registration and C/U Initialization.

25. Confirm NATS Key registration:

^ Refer to steps 14 through 20 in Service Procedure B (NATS C/U Initialization and Key Registration).

26. Perform Intelligent Key ID Registration:
