SERVICE INFORMATION
When doing a tire rotation on a vehicle with the Low Tire Pressure Warning System (LTPWS) please note:
^ "ID registration" of the LTPWS is not required.
For 2004 G35 Sedan and Coupe (V35, CV35)
^ In the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for the Above Vehicles on pages WT-13 and WT-14 it says that you need to perform ID registration when the tires are rotated. This is not the case. As stated above, ID registration does not have to be done when rotating the tires.
^ Future amendments to these ESMs will have this change made.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT LTPWS SELF-DIAGNOSIS AND CONSULT-II
Remember as stated in the ESM:
^ The first step when performing LTPWS Self-Diagnosis is to perform transmitter ID registration.
^ This is critical or the actual malfunction location may be different from that displayed on CONSULT-II.
