2003-2008 FX; REAR SIDE DOOR REPLACEMENT

APPLIED VEHICLES: 2003-2008 FX (S50)

IF YOU CONFIRM

A rear side door (left or right side) needs replacement for any reason

ACTIONS:





1. Make sure the new door has paint sealer in the area shown in Figure 1.

2. If there is no paint sealer in the area shown in Figure 1, add paint sealer to this area.

^ Make sure to use paint sealer that is compatible with the paint system that is used to paint the door.

^ Sealer should be applied smooth with no gaps.

^ Do not apply excessive amounts of paint sealer.





^ Make sure the weather-strip does not contact the paint sealer (see Figure 2).
