This bulletin amends ITB03-010a. This version amends the Applied Vehicles and Service Procedure D.

Please discard all paper copies of the earlier versions.

APPLIED VEHICLES:
2003 & later FX45 / FX35 (S50) - with Intelligent Key System
2005 G35 Sedan (V35) - with Intelligent Key System

SERVICE INFORMATION

The above noted applied vehicles with the Technology option package use the new Intelligent Key system.

^ This bulletin covers new registration procedures for the Intelligent Key(s), NATS (Nissan Anti Theft System) Key(s), and Steering Lock Unit.

^ You'll need CONSULT-II and CONSULT-II converter with the NATS (purple) software card (AENO2C or later) to perform registration Service Procedures in this bulletin.

^ Use the information in Table A to determine which Service Procedure is required for the vehicle you are working on.

For proper operation of the Intelligent Key when used for starting the engine, the Intelligent Key Fob should not be placed:

^ Inside the glove box

^ In the door pocket

^ On top of the instrument panel

^ In the front Cup Holder
