APPLIED VEHICLE(S): 2004-2006 QX56 (JA60)

IF YOU CONFIRM:

The overhead roof console is cracked around the front mounting screws but there are no cracks around the rear mounting screws.

ACTION:

Replace only the front overhead bin and mounting screws.

NOTE:
The bin and screws are now available as separate parts.

SERVICE PROCEDURE





1. Remove the 2 front and 2 rear console roof mounting screws. (See Figure 1)

2. Pull down to separate the console from the headliner.

3. Unfasten the electrical connectors (if applicable).





4. Remove the 6 bin-to-console mounting screws. (see Figure 2 above)

5. Install the new bin in reverse order of removal using the 4 new roof mounting screws.
