2004-2006 QX56; CONDENSER FAN IS INOPERABLE / REDUCED A/C PERFORMANCE

APPLIED VEHICLES:
2004-2006 QX56 (JA60)

IF YOU CONFIRM:

^ Using CONSULT-II 'Auto Active Test' the condenser fan doesn't operate.

and

^ The harness on either the fan side or engine side has wire insulation damage

DETERMINE IF:

The rear tail lamps do not operate when the:

^ Combination switch is in the Park lamp ON or Headlamp ON position and

^ Brake lamps are OK.

NOTE:
If the condenser fan assembly operates normally and there is NO wire insulation damage this bulletin does not apply. Go back to ASIST for further diagnostic and repair information.

ACTIONS:

^ Use the flow chart to diagnose and repair the incident.

^ Replace components as necessary to complete the repair
