2007 - 2008 QX56; HEADLAMP HOUSING REPLACEMENT

This bulletin amends ITB08-019. Parts Information has been corrected. Please disregard all previous versions of this bulletin.

IF YOU CONFIRM:





The Headlamp Housing needs replacement (see Figure 1 above) for any mechanical reason.

AND

The electrical portions of the lamp work OK.

ACTION

Replace only the Headlamp Housing (see Figure 1 shown above).

^ The Headlamp Housing had previously only been available as a complete assembly (with electrics).

^ The Housing is now available as a separate service part.

^ Do not replace the entire Headlamp assembly (with electrics) when only the housing is needed.

^ Refer to "Disassembly and Assembly - FRONT COMBINATION LAMP ASSEMBLY":

> 2007 QX56, refer to section LT of the Electronic Service manual (ESM) for Headlamp Housing replacement.

> 2008 QX56, refer to section EXL of the ESM for Headlamp Housing replacement.
