DOOR DOES NOT LOCK/UNLOCK WITH DOOR REQUEST SWITCH


BACK DOOR : Description


NOTE:
- Before performing the diagnosis in the following procedure, check "Work Flow". Refer to Diagnosis and Repair Workflow.
- Check that vehicle is under the condition shown in "Conditions of vehicle" before starting diagnosis, and check each symptom.

CONDITIONS OF VEHICLE (OPERATING CONDITIONS)
- Intelligent Key is removed from key slot.
- Ignition switch is in the OFF position.
- No Intelligent Keys are inside the vehicle.

BACK DOOR : Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY FUNCTION
Check remote keyless entry function.
Does door lock/unlock with Intelligent key button?
YES - GO TO 2.
NO - Go to Door Does Not Lock/Unlock With Intelligent Key.
2.CHECK "LOCK/UNLOCK BY I-KEY" SETTING IN "WORK SUPPORT"
Check "LOCK/UNLOCK BY I-KEY" in "WORK SUPPORT". Refer to Intelligent Key.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 3.
NO - Set "LOCK/UNLOCK BY I-KEY" in "WORK SUPPORT".
3.CHECK BACK DOOR OPENER
REQUEST SWITCH
Check back door opener request switch (back door). Refer to Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 4.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
4.CHECK OUTSIDE KEY ANTENNA
Check outside key antenna (back door). Refer to Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 5.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
5.CONFIRM THE OPERATION
Confirm the operation again.
Is the result normal?
YES - Check Intermittent Incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO - GO TO 1.
