Cylinder Head Bolt Inspection





Whenever the size difference between (C) and (B) exceeds the limit, replace the bolt.

Limit [(C) - (B)] 0.18 mm (0.0071 in)

A: Measuring point
e: 48 mm (1.89 in)
d: 11 mm (0.43 in)

If reduction of outer diameter appears in a position other than (B), use it as (B) point.

Cylinder Head Bolts





First pass 105 Nm (11 kg-m, 77 ft-lb)
Second pass Completely loosen all bolts in reverse sequence
Third pass 40.0 Nm (4.1 kg-m, 30 ft-lb)
Fourth pass 95° clockwise
Final pass 95° clockwise

Camshaft Bracket Bolts





First pass: Nos. 7 to 10 1.96 Nm (0.20 kg-m, 1 ft-lb)
Second pass: Nos. 1 to 6 1.96 Nm (0.20 kg-m, 1 ft-lb)
Third pass: Nos. 1 to 10 5.88 Nm (0.60 kg-m, 4 ft-lb)
Final pass: Nos. 1 to 10 10.4 Nm (1.1 kg-m, 8 ft-lb)
