Cylinder Head Bolts





Whenever the size difference between (B) and (A) exceeds the limit, replace them with new one

Limit [(B) - (A)] : 0.18 mm (0.0071 in)

c : 55 mm (2.17 in)
d : 12 mm (0.47 in)





Tighten all bolts 40 Nm (4.1 kg-m, 30 ft-lb)
Tighten all bolts Angle tightening: 75 degrees
In the reverse order
Loosen all bolts 0 Nm (0 kg-m, 0 ft-lb)
Tighten all bolts 40.0 Nm (4.1 kg-m, 30 ft-lb)
Tighten all bolts Angle tightening: 65 degrees
Tighten all bolts Angle tightening: 65 degrees again

Head surface distortion
Standard Less than 0.03 mm (0.0012 in)
Limit 0.1 mm (0.004 in)

VVEL ladder assembly





First step 1.96 Nm (0.20 kg-m, 1 ft-lb)
Second step 5.88 Nm (0.60 kg-m, 4 ft-lb)
Third step 10.4 Nm (1.1 kg-m, 8 ft-lb)
