HAZARD AND HORN REMINDER DOES NOT OPERATE





Description

NOTE:
- Before performing the diagnosis following procedure, check "Work Flow". Work Flow With Automatic Back Door.
- Check that vehicle is under the condition shown in "Conditions of vehicle" before starting diagnosis, and check each symptom.

CONDITIONS OF VEHICLE (OPERATION CONDITIONS)
- Ignition switch is in the OFF or LOCK position.
- Intelligent Key is removed from key slot.




Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK "HAZARD ANSWER BACK" SETTING IN "WORK SUPPORT"
Check "HAZARD ANSWER BACK" setting in "WORK SUPPORT". CONSULT-III Function (BCM - Intelligent Key) With Automatic Back Door.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 2.
NO - Set "HAZARD ANSWER BACK" setting in "WORK SUPPORT".
2.CHECK "HORN WITH KEYLESS LOCK" SETTING IN "WORK SUPPORT".
Check "HORN WITH KEYLESS LOCK" setting in "WORK SUPPORT". CONSULT-III Function (BCM - Intelligent Key) With Automatic Back Door.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 3.
NO - Set "HORN WITH KEYLESS LOCK" setting in "WORK SUPPORT".
3.CHECK HAZARD WARNING LAMP
Check hazard warning lamp. Hazard Function With Automatic Back Door.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 4.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
4.CHECK HORN
Check horn. Horn Function With Automatic Back Door.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 5.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
5.CONFIRM THE OPERATION
Confirm the operation again.
Is the result normal?
YES - Check intermittent incident. Intermittent Incident.
NO - GO TO 1.
