DTC DETECTION LOGIC






DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With CONSULT-III
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "HVAC" using CONSULT-III.
3. Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES - SEE Diagnosis Procedure.
NO - INSPECTION END




Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK FRONT AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE) COMMUNICATION SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check output waveform between front air mix door motor RH harness connector and ground with the oscilloscope.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 2.
NO - GO TO 3.
2.CHECK INSTALLATION OF FRONT AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE)
Check front air mix door motor (passenger side) is properly installed. Door Motor.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace front air mix door motor (passenger side). Air Mix Door Motor Removal And Installation.
NO - Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
3.CHECK FRONT AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE) COMMUNICATION SIGNAL CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect front air mix door motor RH and A/C auto amp. connector.
3. Check continuity between front air mix door motor RH harness connector and A/C auto amp. harness connector.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace A/C auto amp.. Service and Repair.
NO - Repair harness or connector.
