DTC DETECTION LOGIC






DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With CONSULT-III
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "HVAC" using CONSULT-III.
3. Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES - SEE Diagnosis Procedure.
NO - INSPECTION END




Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK FRONT MODE DOOR MOTOR COMMUNICATION SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check output waveform between front mode door motor harness connector and ground with the oscilloscope.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 2.
NO - GO TO 3.
2.CHECK INSTALLATION OF FRONT MODE DOOR MOTOR CONTROL LINKAGE
Check front mode door motor control linkage is properly installed. Door Motor.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace front mode door motor. Mode Door Motor Removal And Installation.
NO - Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
3.CHECK FRONT MODE DOOR MOTOR COMMUNICATION SIGNAL CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect front mode door motor and A/C auto amp. connector.
3. Check continuity between front mode door motor harness connector and A/C auto amp. harness connector.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace A/C auto amp.. Service and Repair.
NO - Repair harness or connector.
