DTC DETECTION LOGIC






DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With CONSULT-III
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "HVAC" using CONSULT-III.
3. Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES - SEE Diagnosis Procedure.
NO - INSPECTION END




Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK REAR AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR COMMUNICATION SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check output waveform between rear air mix door motor harness connector and ground with the oscilloscope.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 2.
NO - GO TO 3.
2.CHECK INSTALLATION OF REAR AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR
Check rear air mix door motor is properly installed. Door Motor.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace rear air mix door motor. Rear Air Mix Door Motor.
NO - Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
3.CHECK REAR AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR COMMUNICATION SIGNAL CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect rear air mix door motor and A/C auto amp. connector.
3. Check continuity between rear air mix door motor harness connector and A/C auto amp. harness connector.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace A/C auto amp.. Service and Repair.
NO - Repair harness or connector.
