Removal and Installation


REMOVAL

1.Remove tire with power tool.
2.At first, remove the following parts as a set.
- Engine, transmission assembly, transfer and front final drive: refer to {LINK_TO_MANY:0000000007520657}{LINK_TO_MANY:0000000007520658}, "AWD : Removal and
Installation" (VQ-35HR), Removal And Installation (VK-50VE).
- Drive shaft: Front Drive Shaft.
3.Remove the following parts.
- Steering knuckle and wheel hub and bearing assembly: Exploded View.
- Steering gear assembly and hydraulic line: Exploded View, {LINK_TO:0000000007512373}, "VQ-35HR :
Exploded View" (VQ-35HR), Service and Repair (VK-50VE).
- Stabilizer bar and stabilizer connecting rod: Exploded View.
- Transverse link: Exploded View.
- Engine mount insulator: Exploded View (VQ-35HR), Exploded View
(VK-50VE).

INSTALLATION

Note the following, and install in the reverse order of removal.
- Perform final tightening of bolts and nut at the vehicle installation position (rubber bushing), under unladen condition with tires on level ground.
