IF YOU CONFIRM

A steering noise can be heard in an Applied Vehicle when turning the steering wheel to the left while traveling 15-25 MPH.

NOTE:
The noise is similar to the sound made when:

^ the power steering fluid level is low or fluid has trapped air.

^ the steering is held to full lock with the engine running.

ACTION

1. Check the power steering fluid level and adjust as necessary.

2. If the noise is still heard, replace the power steering reservoir tank with either of the new reservoir tanks* listed in the Parts Information section.

^ Refer to the ST section in the Electronic Service Manual for removal and installation information.
