Timing Cover

Timing Chain Cover Bolts 12.8 N-m (1.3 kg-m, 9 ft-lb)

Tighten mounting bolts in numerical order as shown in the figure.





There are three types of mounting bolts.

A: 20 mm (0.79 in)
B: 45 mm (1.77 in)
C: 80 mm (3.15 in)

Tightening Sequence





After all mounting bolts are tightened, retighten them in numerical order as shown in the figure.


Valve Timing Control Cover Bolts 11.3 N-m (1.2 kg-m, 8 ft-lb)

Tighten bolts in numerical order as shown in the figure





A: Bank 2
B: Bank 1
