VEHICLE SECURITY ALARM DOES NOT ACTIVATE

Description

Before performing the diagnosis in the following table, check "Work Flow". Refer to "Work Flow" Work Flow.


Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK DOOR SWITCH

Check door switch.
Refer to "Component Function Check" Door Switch.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- Replace the malfunctioning door switch

2. CHECK HOOD SWITCH

Check hood switch.
Refer to "Component Function Check" Hood Switch.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 3.
NO- Replace the malfunctioning door switch

3. CHECK HEADLAMP ALARM

Check headlamp operation.
Refer to "Component Function Check" Headlamp.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 4.
NO- Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

4. CHECK HORN

Check horn.
Refer to "Component Function Check" Testing and Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 5.
NO- Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

5. CONFIRM THE OPERATION

Confirm the operation again.
Is the result normal?
YES- Check intermittent incident. Refer to "Intermittent Incident" Intermittent Incident.
NO- GO TO 1.
