DTC DETECTION LOGIC

NOTE:
If DTC B2463 is displayed with DTC U1000, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1000. Refer to SBC29, "DTC Logic".






DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE


1. SELF-DIAGNOSIS WITH PRE-CRASH SEAT BELT CONTROL UNIT

1.Turn ignition switch ON.
2.Check Self-diagnostic result with CONSULT.
Is DTC detected?
YES- Refer to "Diagnosis Procedure" .
NO- Inspection End.


Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK DTC WITH AIR BAG DIAGNOSIS SENSOR UNIT

Check "self-diagnostic result" for "AIR BAG DIAGNOSIS SENSOR UNIT" with CONSULT. Refer to "CONSULT Function (AIR BAG)" Supplemental Restraints.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- Replace air bag diagnosis sensor unit. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Removal and Installation.

2. CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

Refer to "Intermittent Incident" Intermittent Incident.
