DTC DETECTION LOGIC







DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE


1. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

With CONSULT
1.Turn ignition switch ON.
2.Using CONSULT, perform "SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS" of HVAC.
3.Check if any DTC No. is displayed in the self-diagnosis results.
Is DTC detected?
YES- Refer to "Diagnosis Procedure" .
NO- Inspection End.


Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to "Wiring Diagram" [1][2]Electrical Diagrams.

1. CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE) COMMUNICATION SIGNAL

1.Turn ignition switch ON.
2.Check output waveform between front air mix door motor RH harness connector and ground with the oscilloscope.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- GO TO 3.

2. CHECK INSTALLATION OF AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE)

Revision: March 20122013 Infiniti JX
Check air mix door motor (passenger side) is properly installed. Refer to "Exploded View Front Door Motors" Exploded View - Front Door Motors.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace air mix door motor (passenger side). Refer to "AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR : Removal and Installation Air Mix Door Motor (Passenger Side)" Removal and Installation - Air Mix Door Motor (Passenger Side).
NO- Repair or replace malfunctioning part.

3. CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE) COMMUNICATION SIGNAL CIRCUIT

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect air mix door motor (passenger side) and A/C auto amp. connector.
3.Check continuity between air mix door motor (passenger side) harness connector and A/C auto amp. harness connector.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace A/C auto amp. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Removal and Installation.
NO- Repair harness or connector.
